European Summer & London Photo Shoot
We’re fully immersed in the European summer long, hot and, in our family’s case, made up of several carefully negotiated layers: holiday camps, grandparents stepping in, short breaks, day trips, longer adventures and, of course, the ongoing juggle of work commitments.
Thirteen weeks in total. I personally love it… although I’m saying that while the kids are happily iPad-supported and therefore, for the moment, not arguing, moaning or both.
One of the summer camps was UK-based, so I decided to make the most of the time in London and organise a little photoshoot.
The brief was very much summer in the city hot, energetic and effortless. East London gave us some brilliant backdrops, and rather than looking far and wide for a model, we kept things close to home. Maria, my cousin, stepped in and did an amazing job.
Hannah, our photographer, worked her magic, capturing that relaxed summer feeling with a distinctly London edge.
London always feels so creative and full of energy. Even on the hottest days, there’s something about the mix of people, architecture, colour and constant movement that makes it such an inspiring place to shoot.
